The UHERO Data Portal provides access to a wide array of economic and social indicators for the State of Hawaii, the four counties, and key external economies.
Using the Data Portal
The Data Portal site provides a rich set of tools for data analysis, accessed through an easy-to-use menu-driven interface. Data can be displayed in tabular or graphical form, and the user can switch among monthly, quarterly, and annual formats (as applicable). Users can examine historical trends and make comparisons across counties and indicators. Tables and graphs can be formatted for printing and can be download in the industry-standard formats for immediate use in Microsoft Excel© or other graphing and reporting software. An overview home page provides a snapshot view of the State or any of its four counties, as well as access to At a Glance summaries of recent developments.
Using the Data Portal should be fairly intuitive, and we encourage you to experiment!
About the Data
This unique database, which is continually expanding, currently houses historical data on more than 3,000 economic indicators. Much of the data reported in the system comes from government data sources; some originates at UHERO. Source notes are provided for each data series.
