UHERO’s Sumner La Croix elected President of the Economic History Society of Australia and New Zealand

At its annual meeting on 17 February 2024, the members of the Economic History Society of Australia and New Zealand elected Sumner La Croix (University of Hawaii at Mānoa) to be President of the Society for a two-year term.  La Croix has published numerous articles and books on Australian and Pacific economic history, including his 2019 book, Hawai‘i:  Eight Hundred Years of Political and Economic Change.
