COVID-19 recovery study

UHERO Research Fellow Ruben Juarez and collaborators from the John A. Burns School of Medicine are examining the recovery and progression of individuals with COVID-19 in order to design better strategies for the recovery of other infected individuals. The project is recruiting up to 100 participants who have tested positive over the last 60 days (anytime on or after April 10). There are incentives of up to $150 per individual, but the main incentive for participants is to help their community come up with better strategies to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19.

  1. Where will blood tests be done? At home/car or specific offices? Is this only Oahu residents or are you paying for blood sampling/shipping from other islands?
